Catholic Diocese of Kanjirapally — A Glorious Track Record

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Kanjirapally and administered by the Diocesan Educational Trust. Helmed by the visionary Bishop Mar Jose Pulickal, the diocese maintains an outstanding track record across education and social service: one self-financed engineering college, two government-aided arts & science colleges, 17 Higher Secondary Schools, 36 High Schools, 26 Upper Primary Schools, 54 Lower Primary Schools, five Special Schools, 16 Hospitals, and NGOs including Malanadu Development Society, Peermade Development Society, and Amala Communications. The deep commitment of around 250 priests, 1,600 sisters, and a large number of full-time social workers underpins every initiative.

Founded in 2001 through the foresight of His Excellency Mar Mathew Arackal, AJCE today stands as a beacon of technical education in Kerala. Bishop Arackal's vision of "Excellence in Engineering Education" shaped the master plan and the sprawling campus at Koovapally.

The College is steered by a governing body of nationally and internationally acclaimed scientists, engineers, and educationalists — complemented by a dedicated and brilliant faculty and a committed administrative cadre.
