Amal Jyothi College of Engineering,Kanjirapally,is the first and only new generation college in Kerala to complete the process of AICTE accreditation.The main feature of the college comprise world-class infrastructure ,top - flight faculty,high pass percentage,excellent placement record and unique student projects.

Amal Jyothi is a super complex of nearly 6 lakh sq.feet  overlooking the Kottayam- Kanjirapally -Sabarimala state highway.The two own campus hostels ,taken care of by Catholic Priests and nuns,have a capacity of 1250 inmates .The campus has a 6mbps internet connectivity and the departments are connected with optical fiber .There is video conferencing  facility as well.

Amal Jyothi is the only Engineering College in the state having a Catholic Priest as Principal

The Name "AMAL JYOTHI"

The word "Amal"means immaculate and inviolate, and "Jyothi" means light. Thus "Amal Jyothi" stands for pure light, a universal symbol signifying the search for unblemished truth. By allusion, it stands for enlightenment through Mary Immaculate in whose name the College is dedicated.

The College logo depicting an industrial gear wheel on the outside, an orbiting atom inside, and a lighted lamp with St. Thomas Cross in the background symbolizes the dynamic physical world, which the mind of man explores to meet his needs righteously.
