Duration of the course
a) The course for the B.Tech. Degree shall extend over a period of four academic years comprising of 8 semesters. The first and second semester combined and each semester from third semester onwards shall cover the groups of subjects as given in the scheme of studies and examinations.
b) Each semester shall normally comprise of 16 weeks.
c) The course calendar will be as follows.

Core subjects
The course structure is updated regularly to enable the students to understand the new trends in infrastructure development. it includes survey,analysis and design of steel and concrete structures,prestressed concreting,remotesensing and geographic information system,geotechnical engineering,hydraulics,water resources,environmental engineering and intelligent transportation system.
